10 Feb: Lunar New Year: Do you celebrate lunar new year? What do you hope the year of the Dragon will bring to your life?
No, but I'm a great fan of Dragons. And story_works currently has a dragon challenge going on, which I've written for.

12 Feb: Darwin Day: Do you believe in survival of the fittest?
No, I believe that those who adapt themselves the best will survive in the natural world.  And I also strongly believe that those who have advantages should assist those who lack them.  The rich and powerful will always survive, there are many who deserve a helping hand.

17 Feb: World Pangolin Day: What’s your favorite unusual creature?
I do like pangolins - I would happily have a scaly anteater if that were reasonable.  I also like capybaras, and have a capybara spirit animal in my Spooks Sentinel/Guide AU.

I've mentioned but not sure to whom, that my parents and older nephew are all Dragons in the lunar zodiac and my parents are huge fans of dragons. Lots of dragon figurines and a small garden statue and pictures, fridge magnets, etc!
I usually have a meal with my sister and her husband and the nephews. This year the menfolk went to stay with a friend as they'd arranged that but my sister wanted to stay with the new puppy so we took turns cuddling Rufus and watching movies so that was a nice start to the lunar new year. I hope it brings prosperity because I could do with some!

Ohhhh pangolins are so cute and look like mini dragons! I love them and capybaras too, the biggest rodents - I have a soft toy gifted to me after someone visited a wildlife park/zoo.

I'd love to be a Dragon - sadly I'm a Monkey (: Cuddling the puppy and watching movies sounds like an entirely enjoyable way to spend your time.

My sister's a Monkey as is her husband. Monkeys are fun :) I'm a Tiger which I don't really any connection to.

Yay for dragons. I like your answer to 12. I let Minisculus pick out a plush animal for Xmas from the World Wildlife Fund catalog (because Minor had asked for a squishmallow plushie which is a specific kind of plushie) and I was secretly hoping he would pick the pangolin (they ALL kinds of animals, that's where I got my okapi). I was a little sad when he picked the Cross Fox. Capybaras are cool too.
