You're not the first person I've known who rarely re-reads books. I'm the opposite - despite always having a giant TBR pile, I still like to re-read old favourites now and then. And I used to take the third HP book (Azkaban) with me on every trip as my backup/comfort read, if other reading choices didn't work out.
