Date: 2024-09-30 08:09 pm (UTC)The StitchAlong already looks awesome, very fitting September motif.#
I love your wrist warmer, so pretty! Puts my simple ribbed ones to shame *grins*
Looks like your top is almost finished =)

Date: 2024-09-30 08:13 pm (UTC)The StitchALong looks as if it will have some really suitable motifs each month (although I've only see the first two!)
It's from my new Christmas crafts book, but the pattern is suitable for any time - and they will definitely come in useful.
I haven't got too much left to do of the front, but then there will be the neck and sleeve ribbings to do.

Date: 2024-10-01 03:06 pm (UTC)Your StitchALong - with September project is looking great -- as are the Christmas cards! I'm also impressed by the continued progress you're making with the sleeveless top, and that wrist warmer is really nice. :-)

Date: 2025-02-18 11:19 am (UTC)Oddly I saw a bit of a Rick Stein travel show where he visited a museum and saw The Kiss, which is the first time I think I'd seen the real painting, though heard of it before.
I've not done any patterned knitting so I am making ooh sounds at how lovely the patterns are on the wrist warmers :D

Date: 2025-02-18 11:27 am (UTC)I'd recommend patterned knitting as it can be fun - and if you start off with something where it doesn't matter too much if you make an odd mistake it's well worth trying.
