Today's
snowflake_challenge asks about resources, spaces and communities.
So
ushobwri is a twice weekly (and daily during NaNo) community encouraging people to write, and commiserating when they don't. Very low key, no obligation to achieve goals. Be cheered on for writing and offered understanding when life takes over. Sometimes resorts to inviting everyone into a blanket fort.
fan_flashworks is a multi-fandom flash community. Every ten days (approximately) - three a month there is a new prompt and creators (writers, artist, bakers, crafters) are invited to produce something for that prompt. It does have a strict closing date, but every six challenges is Amnesty, so work not finished in time can be posted later. Great for keeping the muse ticking over - drabbles and short poems are just as welcome as much longer works.
drabble_zone weekly (Saturday) prompt for drabbles (100 words) and double drabbles (200 words). Again multi-fandom or none, perfect for trying out a few words on a new fandom and great for just getting something out there. Every tenth week is an Amnesty.
