We shall be continuing

The good news is that one of the mum's has come forward and is happy to become a Guider, which means our Brownie Pack will continue.  Whilst I was away Brown Owl had decided to bring the finish date forward to the end of May, but this mum's daughter was so keen to continue, and mum (one of the few stay-at-home mums) was looking for something to do and has volunteered.  One of the district team will join us temporarily for the last half term, and I shall be leading the meetings, but we're good to go!

Last week we planted violas in little pots:



And this week we got all the craft materials out and let the Brownies choose what they wanted to make.  They seemed very happy letting their imaginations run wild.

The district team guider told the parents at the end of the meeting we would be continuing and then one of the Brownies came rushing back to tell one of the others Brownies would be continuing, who bounced out to tell her mother (who had just arrived).  So it's good to know it's popular news.

Oh!!! I’m so happy (and relieved) that the Brownies will continue. Go stay-at-home mom willing to help!
Will you still be participating in some after the last half of the term? (Aka, will there be more brownie posts that include crafts that will, inevitably, inspire me to try them with my boys?)

Oh yes, I shall be continuing. I was keen to do so, but didn't want the responsibility of being Guider-in-charge. Assistant Guider helping with crafts and arranging trips out is perfect for me.

And there will be lots of crafts you can copy I'm sure.
