Art and Craft Update

Still not much art, but SM did ask for a hand drawn Valentine's card, so I drew the cyclamen:



The stained glass window bookmark is progressing well:



On Valentine's Day SM received an unexpected delivery, which he opened and said "It's for you!".  DMC, who provided the Klimt cross stitch kit he had given me for Christmas had decided their patterns weren't up to their usual standard and had reprinted them.  So now instead of a single A3 sheet with the pattern, I now have two A3 sheets which has made it so much easier to follow.  And it's progressing well:

How great that DMC re-did the chart. That should help a lot. Looks like it's really coming along.

Making your own Valentines card is a lovely thought and it turned out really well.

Excellent progress with craft work:-) I do like your card, and hope you sketch more:-) And the stained glass is coming along beautifully:...re charts...some really do need a magnifying glass.

Thank you very much. I shall continue to sketch when I can. I've really enjoyed the stained glass, thank you. I have enough trouble following the chart as it is, without needing to balance a magnifying glass as well!

I love your cyclamen. Be warned, my mother started with one piece of art, like that, and ended up doing all her Christmas and birthday cards plus some for the Church fair.
