Rudybago slid one tentacle under the table to caress Bones' knee, and then used another one to work slowly up his thigh. He employed a third tentacle to operate a switch which caused a green light to flash, leading Bones to say, "I'm sorry I'm wanted in Sick Bay." As Bones left the meeting, Rudybago slipped out after him.
Abe Morgan looked critically at Henry's tie and winced. The colour might bring back fond memories of the 1920s, but as far as Abe was concerned the only acceptable use of chartreuse was as a liqueur. The tie would have to go.
DI Stanley Hopkins, Met River Police, peered into the depths of the night-time Thames. It might not be ventablack, absorbing all light, but it had sucked down a myriad of secrets. Would it reveal the one they were looking for tonight?
"I rather like you wearing green," Lucas said looking thoughtfully at Adam. "However grass stains on the back of your shirt might not be the most appropriate way to wear it. Let me help you take it off!"
Coffee, Lestrade felt, should be steaming in a mug, preferably sitting next to a comfortable armchair, not the colour of the walls of a living room which currently contained a dead body. He tuned out Sherlock's staccato deductions since Donovan was taking notes and would fill him in later, and imagined the mug of coffee. Sadly, it looked as if it would be a while before it became a reality.
