One of those meme things
Jun. 20th, 2019 04:01 pmCopied from
moth2fic but suitably amended of course! (And see at the bottom for a second one from
corvidology ) All AO3 based, on which I am Small_Hobbit
How many works do you currently have on AO3?
788
Which ratings?
General: 503
Teen: 282
Mature: 3
No surprise to anybody!
Which archive warnings?
None apply: 730
Choose not to use: 52
Major character death: 8
Clearly two have two ratings
Do you consider yourself an adventurous writer?
Define adventurous. I write things nobody else thinks of, see Tigger Holmes and the Case of the Unexplained Soldier which features Bucky Barnes, Star Wars (the Grand Old Duke of York Vader) and consultation by mirror, but this might not be what you had in mind.
Which pairing categories do you use most?
Gen: 401
M/M: 353
F/M: 37
Other: 3
F/F: 2
Is this more accidental, or do you have preferences?
I think this is accurate.
What are your top 4 fandoms by number?
Sherlock BBC: 206
Sherlock Holmes ACD: 201
Spooks (MI5): 102
Lewis (TV): 59
Are you still active in them or do you tend to migrate a lot?
Still moving from BBC Sherlock to ACD Holmes, but I continue to write both. Definitely writing Spooks. I tend to only write Lewis for specific challenges, but still write a few each year.
Top 4 relationship tags?
Adam Carter/Lucas North: 59
Sherlock Holmes/John Watson: 52 (almost entirely ACD)
Sherlock Holmes/Stanley Hopkins: 40 (split between ACD and BBC where my Hopkins is a Met River Police DI)
Greg Lestrade/John Watson: 26
Guy of Gisborne/Much: 25
Bilbo Baggins/Thorin Oakenshield: 24
Yes, I'm aware there are six there.
Does this match how you feel about the characters, or are you puzzled?
Yet another result which comes as a surprise to absolutely no-one.
I'm ignoring the last few questions, because they're not relevant. I should add that if I search Ferret, I find 48 fics - I feel that there is an entire substrata of my writing which isn't included in this meme.
Now for the second meme. As I said above I have 788 works on AO3. Pick a number between 1 and 788 (where 1 is the newest) and I will tell you my favourite line from that fic.
