Local walks (Part 4)

There are lots of butterflies around.  The peacocks were surprisingly easy to photograph, the speckled woods less so, and the others wouldn't sit still at all!

 

 

On the canal there is a mother duck with 15 ducklings.  They aren't all in every photo - it's very hard to keep them all in one shot!

I love your photos, especially the ones of the butterflies! The flowers are also beautiful, and it's great to see a mother duck on the canal with her ducklings. Fifteen ducklings are a lot of babies to keep track of!

Thank you. I'm pleased you liked them - I was delighted to get the butterfly photos. We were amazed at how many ducklings the mother duck had.
