Craft - Month 1

The first of my monthly craft posts for 2020/21.

There's not much to relate.  I've bought a couple of second-hand books on celtic cross-stitch, and have been looking at supplies for making bookmarks, which is something I'm thinking of for the autumn.  Also, I've found a selection of free crochet amigurumi patterns which again I'm saving for later in the year.

In the meantime, I finally got out my pastels:



And, of course, my Klimt cross stitch continues.  Here is where I was on the last day of April - I was rather pleased to have finished that strip on the last day of the month:

Celtic bokmarks would be so cool! I have a couple of books too, Celtic designs are awesome.

Having done a course on the Book of Kells I was really interested in pursuing the artistic ideas, so I think it will be interesting.

Yes, the sunflowers are on their way - I'm hoping to finish in a couple of months.

I thought they would, they're often narrow patterns which should be ideal.
