Craft - Month 2

My goal is to do some craftwork every evening, and I am doing that, but since I'm still working on the same project there are few photos.

I did make an origami dog, because I needed to write the instructions for the Brownie badge, and photos can be seen here: Origami Dog because I realised I could use them towards my Craft badge on fan_flashworks !

Otherwise, my cross stitch is heading towards completion in the middle of next month, maybe slightly sooner, but it's too hot to rush.

It looks closer than it actually is - you know how long cross stitch takes, but yes, less than a month away!

I really like the origami dog. It seems like a suitable craft for the Brownies. It challenges them with the need to follow instructions, but it's something that they shouldn't struggle too much with.

Your cross stitch is looking fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product! :-D

Thank you - the idea is they should be able to do it by themselves so it's not one more thing the parents have to do. We shall see!

How many colors are in the pattern?
What does the back look like?

There are 32 colours, of which 13 are different shades of green. The back is a mess - I do not follow the correct weaving in method!

When your cross stitch is done, will you frame it? Put it on a throw pillow? Congrats on being nearly done!

I'm planning on framing it. A throw pillow would be nice, but I'd hate anything to happen to it.

We had a lot last night and it's intermittent today, but it is cooller, which helps.
