Writing - March 2021

Word count wise March has been a reasonable month, with 11.5K words - and having written a craft post yesterday I can see where much of the time I wasn't writing went.

Firstly, a couple of updates from previous months.  My HeroineBigBang fic Trouble at Baldwin Flats, which is Call the Midwife and stageoffools The Foreboding Castle a Macbeth fic.

whatif_au was about modelling this month, so I wrote Hudson's Modelling Agency in BBC Sherlock fandom.  And story_works ran the Come Back challenge, for which I wrote 4.7K words about Thorin Oakenshield (The Hobbit) in a weekend, No Going Back

Other than that, it's been a case of various drabbles and ficlets.

'Other than that' she says--ha!---it's a lot! I am almost certain you will beat me this month! It has been an unprecedentedly miserable month for word count for me. I enjoyed the Trouble at Baldwin Flats, and the modeling agency one was fun. And, yes, unfortunately we don't have alternate universes where we can do all the ficcing and all the crafting! You have been knitting and stitching up a storm. Something had to give!

I'm impressed! Congrats on accomplishing a mixture of crafts and writing. I have your Macbeth fic bookmarked to read this week, I recall the play fondly and also the paradoy done by Discworld novel Wyrd Sisters 🙂
