Carpe Diem: Tuesday

Tuesday's child is full of grace
Today's entry focuses on Squee rather than Creativity and is inspired in part by
Matthew Bourne's dance productions. I'm a relative late-comer to these but have loved all the ones I've seen:
The Car Man; Cinderella; Swan Lake; Romeo & Juliet; The Red Shoes.
And while I'm not a fan of filmed plays, I've happily watched four of the five on the television over the past year.
I've also been fortunate enough to take part in the online Re-generate programme, which was classes for the Over-55s, based on various of the ballets.

Date: 2021-08-25 02:29 pm (UTC)A few years ago I started to go to the theatre to see plays/musicals. But I haven't been to see anything that's focussed on dance or a ballet. If they're as good as these I need to change that.
Thank you for sharing.
