The Friday Five: Books, baths etc

From thefridayfive  There's a "National Read In The Bathtub Day" coming up next week, of all occasions...

1) Read any good books lately?
Yes, a number of quite good books.  The one I'd recommend most is The Dying Day by Vaseem Khan, set in Bombay in 1950, with a female detective.

2) Taken any good baths lately?
I've had a couple - being stuck at home covid positive there was nothing exciting to do and time to spend on having a bath.

3) Do you read paper books, or do you prefer another format?
Definitely paper books, but also audiobooks

4) Where's the most comfortable place in your home?
For cross stitch and knitting my sofa, for reading the bed.  Yes, I have my own two-seater sofa.  SM has one as well.  Our house has a small living room, so two two-seaters make best use of the space.  The other half of mine is covered in magazines and wool.

5) What's the most relaxing sound you can put on?
I don't go with relaxing sounds - silence suits me.

I don't like baths... I shower, instead, and I don't think reading in the shower is a thing!! I don't read in bed, either. I read in my recliner in the lounge as a rule. And whilst I do still buy and borrow paperbacks I prefer my Kindle, not least because I can fix the font size!

I generally shower, and agree reading in the shower really isn't practical! I do like the feel of a paper book, plus the change from holding an electronic devise and looking at a physical pile of books. Not to mention how else could I use all my lovely bookmarks ;)

There are plenty of sounds around, so silence is great!
