I’m intrigued by this one. I like Cozy mysteries ( though friend recently recommended Clouds of Witness by Dorothy Saysrs to me) and the title grabs my attention and I have to ask, what’s the premise?
I wouldn't put it in the Cozy mystery league, more Agatha Christie type. But no gore, and the puzzle needs to be solved by a detective working through the clues and his knowledge of people. E C R Lorac is my new favourite author - her descriptions of locations are excellent, and I've recognised places I've been, but they aren't obtrusive (of the sort I usually skip through). It's set in the mid 1930s, which is when it was written, and features her series detective MacDonald (but previously knowledge of him isn't important).
The basic idea is a woman is found dead, presumed suicide, but her brother receives a letter after her death, delayed in the post, which indicates this may not be the case. I'd thoroughly recommend it.
