Crafts - April 2022

The swan family cross stitch should soon be completed.  All the cygnets are there now; all that remains are the bushes (of which there are many) and some of the reflections.



And as part of my new goals, I have taken one of the patterns from my new Spring 2022 cross stitch magazine, and am stitching initials to go on a wedding card:



Mini Hobbit was delighted with her Easter present:

 



I have also knitted two more squares for my throw.  The second is from a new Rowan KnitALong, with a textured theme based on architectural buildings.  The first of which is Rotterdam.  Two colour because I ran out of the green yarn and the pattern wasn't interesting anyway.

 

I also knitted a Ukrainian sunflower for SM to wear at a concert he was singing at:



And lastly, again relating to my new goals, I have started a painting by numbers I was given a few months ago

Once again you have been so productive on a whole bunch of projects! I'm in awe.

The swans are coming along wonderfully, and the wedding card is beautiful.

I think I've already commented on all the lovely knitted items. I'm very curious about the painting by numbers though. I have no idea what it's going to be, it's quite exciting. Maybe you can let people guess, lol!

Yes, I've posted about all the knitted items, they're here because I like to have a complete record. It's interesting to look back and see what I've done.

I'm doing one colour per time on the painting by numbers, which is why it's not clear what it is yet!

I think that's the best way to do painting by numbers. It adds mystery ;)

Wow! You have been busy! The swan family cross stitch is looking fantastic! I also really like the cross stitch initials that you're creating for that wedding card.

I'm glad that Mini Hobbit was so happy with her Easter presents -- not that it comes as a surprise!

Your other knitting projects are looking good. It's great that SM was able to wear that knitted Ukrainian sunflower at the concert he was singing at.

Thank you very much. I'm pleased with the swans. The squares are variable but they'll all be different. Kitty needed her bag to put her beach clothes in.
