Writing - July 2022

This has been a good writing month, the best this year, totalling about 14.4K  Hooray!  Which means I've written 66.5K for the year, which is encouraging in that even if I now have a few less productive months I should reach 100K, or even slightly over.

The major reason for this is taking part in watsons_woes July Writing Prompts, for which I've written every day.  It became quite a challenge partway through the month, but by cutting back to writing only a drabble I've now only got one day left.  I opted to write Watson's Diary so could have some very mundane entries if I wanted.  There is also a small case muddled up in it.



I also took part in allbingo Winterfest in July writing another in my retired Lucas/Adam AU: Forward Planning.



Apart from that a combination of fan_flashworks and ficlet_zone gave a Miss Marple story Underneath the Clock

While a second ficlet_zone gave me the chance to write some angsty Lucas in It's My Life

That's a very good point. One can hope, at least, that that's the reason why...

I'm actually wanting to look into other hobbies I can do when I can't get online, but there's always so much to do at the old money pit...

When I started crafting again I looked on Ebay and picked up a cheap cross stitch kit and some cheap yarn, so I could try things before deciding what I really wanted to do.
