Writing - August 2022

smallhobbitThis month's writing figures have slipped back again - currently I've written 6.2K for the month. There are a few more days, but I doubt I shall add that much.

no_true_pair and have begun writing the drabbles/ficlets to give myself a head start - posting is during September.
whatif_au currently has a treasure hunters challenge, so I wrote a teenage modern AU for Hamlet: Yorick's Map
ficlet_zone only produced a double drabble, although as it's part of my Sherlock AU 'Shopping with Jim' I amused myself writing Map Reading by Seb
Realistically I'm looking at 100-110K for the year, which is a definite drop from last year. In some ways this is disappointing, as I'd like to be writing more, but on the other hand, there isn't much I particularly want to write, and there's definitely no need to produce words just for the sake of it.
