Again I've written about 7K words during the month, bringing my total for the year so far to 81.5K, so current progress should bring me in to 100K words.  Not surprising, I'm really not particularly inspired.  I'm not watching much at the moment, or anything really, although I'm happy listening to audiobooks and programmes on BBC Sounds, as well as still reading a reasonably wide selection of books.  I don't want to stop writing altogether - there are some things which I still enjoy - but the days when I considered it a loss when I hadn't written anything on a day are well and truly past.

My preference is definitely for crack and writing things which make me smile at the moment.  My [community profile] fan_flashworks entry for 'Clear' was a modern day take on Macbeth's three wishes: When Shall We Three Meet Again

My main pre-occupation has been writing a daily entry for [community profile] no_true_pair for 28 days Take Eight Characters.  I did greatly enjoy including the Ferret as one of the eight characters, my own personal favourite being when he teaches Lucas North to cheat at dominoes.

I'm currently working on [personal profile] trickortreat exchange and [personal profile] spook_me which I should finish early next month and will be posted at the end of the month.

I have been thinking about this since I read it. I don't think I am where you are (yet) but it might be on the horizon, and I am trying to make peace with that.

I will be going back and reading more of your 8 Characters. Interesting exercise!
