The Friday Five: Mixed Questions

1. Mysteries. Do you sleuth alongside Nancy Drew or Miss Marple? Fan of Nero Wolfe?
My favourite genre: Sherlock Holmes, Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot, Joy Ellis' DI Jackman, E C R Lorac's CI MacDonald

2. Plan on making a batch of chili? Have a top secret recipe to share?
Nope

3. Does your car or did a family car have a name?
My current car is the Little Green Bug

4. Did you walk to school with your friends? Take a school bus?
Primary school I walked, my friends coming from different directions.  Secondary school I caught a normal bus, again my friends came from different directions.  The kids walked to secondary school, except when there were musical instruments to be conveyed.  And now I walk Mini Hobbit home from school on a weekly basis.

5. Ever have someone carry your books home from school?
No, but I did carry the kids books at primary school and now - you guessed - I have to carry Mini Hobbit's book bag home.

Oh yes. She comes out and gives me her books and coat. It's always fun walking home with her - yesterday she pretended to be a crow!

Minor likes to carry minisculus' bag but I do it sometimes. I like the thought of you in a little green bug.

That's sweet of him :) Yes, I have a small green car - which means it's easy to find in a car park and 'little green bug' is a good way to point it out to people.
