Fannish Fifty: Stained Glass
Mar. 28th, 2023 10:40 amIf I go anywhere with stained glass I can be guaranteed to take several photos. For obvious reasons there can be problems with the light, but nonetheless I like to capture something of their beauty.
While we were away we visited the Cathedral Notre-Dame at St Omer. This was built between the thirteenth and sixteenth century and apparently is the final great example of Gothic architecture in the northern provinces of France.

And with bonus wood carving
