Sunshine Challenge - Day Two - Coral Rose

The main flower for Day 2 of the sunshine_challenge is the Gladiolus.  Which immediately makes me think of the late Barry Humphries and Dame Edna Everage.

However, I am going for the Bonus Prompt and have chosen a photo of our Coral Rose, taken this morning shining with the rain drops.

These are simply gorgeous.!!They're one I know my mom would love, although she's against having more rose bushes. Too fussy to maintain.
