Writing - August 2023

Another good month this month, with 13K words, bringing my total to over 96K.

In part this is small_fandoms having a Shady Spot daily challenge, with a different colour shade each day.  I have written something for Days 1 to 28, the last three being free choice and I felt I'd used up my colour ideas.  I also managed to include the idea of shade in each little ficlet as well.  Fandoms I wrote for were: The Midnight Bell (Bourne), Swan Lake (Bourne), Sleeping Beauty (Bourne) and The Red House Mystery (Milne).

In addition I've been preparing for next month's no_true_pair challenge, so that I have something to post while I'm away and also don't need to panic once I'm back.  I'm using the same eight characters as last year and it will be on AO3, called Return of the Eight.

I've continued with my normal challenges and the only other main work was for whatif_au who have a Steam/Clock/etc Punk challenge.  I wrote steampunk for The Hobbit: Bilbo's New Job

A very good month. I liked your Bilbo fic. I will have to check out the Red House ficlets.
