Writing - September 2023

Down on wordage this month, only 8.4K, bringing my annual total to 105.5K, so within striking distance of my original goal of 110K and means reaching 135K, my revised goal, as still possible. 

I don't normally link to my fan_flashworks fics, but I did enjoy writing Tigger Holmes and the Case of the Two Hairy Maclarys

story_works are holding an Authority Figure Appreciation Challenge, which definitely was a challenge, since many of my characters have a problem with authority figures (something I share), so I settled on DI Stanley Hopkins in my Thames River Police 'verse, who has earned the authority he has: The Man in Charge

Another comm I rarely link to is ficlet_zone but I was also entertained writing The Parrot which is ACD Holmes.

The major output was for no_true_pair which I began last month, which has Miss Marple, Tigger Holmes, Spooks Lucas North and Adam Carter, and ACD Holmes Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson, Mrs Hudson and the Ferret, meeting each other: Return of the Eight

Apart from that I've also written for trickortreatex and spook_me both of which will be revealed next month.
