Netta Longdon is also in Hangover Square.  She wants to be an actress, but lack of talent and lack of application mean that she will never make it.

Netta Longford entered the Midnight Bell and waved to George Harvey Bone.  He was good for a couple of drinks and then maybe she’d invite him to come back with her, or there again maybe not.  She did want to keep on his good side, after all he knew the producer of a current West End play and when she was introduced to him, she knew the producer would put her into his next production, maybe even in a starring role.  When Bone refused to buy her a second drink, apparently claiming he had no money left, she flounced out.
