Mouselet arrived in April 2013, in The Golden Pince-Nez:
When Inspector Hopkins arrived his lovely dark hair was wet where the rain had blown under his hat and his beautiful grey eyes were full of concern about his case. Now Mr Holmes has assured him that he will go to Yoxley with him tomorrow his sweet face is peaceful as he sleeps on the sofa. He is my hero.
Hopkins has remained her hero ever since, and it is a bad week for Mouselet if he does not once call into 221B.

Mouselet is a Special Correspondent and relates many of the events at 221B Baker Street, together with some of the minor cases which Dr Watson does not have published in The Strand magazine. She also provides the book reviews, which chiefly involve her asking Dr Watson what he thought of a book and then embellishing it based on the cover. She does her best to include something in praise of Inspector Stanley Hopkins in every edition, although the Editor does not approve, especially when in her enthusiasm she has drooled over her copy. She considers him to be a spoilsport.
