Writing - April 2024

Amazingly, I've written just over 15k words this month, bringing my total at one-third of the year up to 47K.  This is really good because I'm away for a couple of weeks in May and June, so it gives me some slack.

whatif_au has a bingo card, which will be running until the end of July, so I've been happily tackling a number of these.  My collection is here: WhatIf AU Bingo and currently includes Mycroft Holmes' Easter Wonderland , Still Standing which is Call The Midwife Apocalypse (probably my least favourite AU to write) and The Photographs in the Attic which is BBC Sherlock minor characters with ACD Holmes ghosts.  As can be seen from the two Sherlock stories, I shall be using a number of series I have already been writing.

For lands_of_magic I wrote April Showers, a Holmes/Watson retirement story, using a number of the prompt words, plus Miss Marple's Break from Home which is a Miss Marple/Spooks (werewolf!Lucas 'verse) story using a bingo card.

The allbingo theme this month was Teenage Mutant Ninja Heroes, so I chose a 2x2 card of their colours to write Winnie-the-Pooh's Flowery Year

Lastly, Pamela, who is the main OC in Whose Life? which is a Spooks story, demanded that we hear her side of the events: Pamela's Story

That is a great amount of words and yes, always good to get in front of your goals where possible!

Yay! You were very prolific this month. I enjoyed the Winnie Pooh stories. I am sorry I am so behind. I promise I am going to get back to the Miss Marple and finish it. And read the ghost story. I like Sally and her ghosts.

Thank you :) No worries - I wasn't that taken with the Miss Marple story, but it was quite fun to write (too many loose ends!) Sally and the ghosts are fun :)
