1 SEPT: World Letter Writing Day: When’s the last time you wrote a letter?
I wrote to a friend in January. Otherwise, whenever I last wrote a letter on behalf of the charity I volunteer with, explaining why their organisation would like to give us a grant.

5 SEPT: Be Late for Something Day: Are you a punctual person?
Yes! Why agree a time if you don't mean it?

10 SEPT: Swap Ideas Day: Do you have someone you swap ideas with?
I have a number of people who I do different things with, who I share ideas with. Planning the kids' crafts for a Tuesday afternoon we'll chat and come up with different ideas.

And did the organization agree they’d like to give your charity a grant?

Probably not. I send off a lot of applications. We probably get about 20%, which is a reasonable strike rate.

You'll be proud of me. I still write handwritten thank you notes, so I a thank you note back in June for my birthday box from friends.

Very impressive. My thank yous now go by email, which mean they at least arrive sooner than the post.

I email them, too, so people know their package arrive, but then I do them by post. The post here has gotten so slow. The Post Master General that Trump appointed is a joke. I don't know how much longer he's in office 4. I'll have to look it up. It was quite awhile. It was a a strange thing. He's been slowing down the mail on purpose.
