Not long back from a few days' holiday, which began in Chester.
We both walked along the banks of the River Dee and took a boat trip along part of it:

We also walked around the city centre and along about half of the city walls - they measure about two miles, which we could have managed had we not already done a considerable amount of walking!

And we also visited the St John the Baptist church, founded in 1075 (no pictures) and Chester cathedral which was founded in 1092, which has some stunning stained glass.
