Crafts - August 2025
Aug. 29th, 2025 03:58 pmThis is a split post, as, although I've been doing a fair amount of cross stitch, there are a couple of projects which are close to being finished, so I'd rather wait until they're completed before posting them. And in addition, two were for cards for friends who won't have received them yet. I plan on posting a further craft post midway through next month as part of my 25 things for 2025, and there's no point in duplicating photos.
However, Mouse SAL for September was completed:

And this is my almost complete needlecase:

And here's the start of my Knittern (knitted bittern) with body and wings:

Date: 2025-10-08 03:17 pm (UTC)The Mouse SAL is so pretty! I love all the details and colours, and the mouse has such a sweet face.
I absolutely LOVE the needlecase! Again, it has some wonderful colours and details. I think the design is beautiful!
I need to get caught up with your posts to see what progress you've made on the Knittern! I hadn't realized that you could knit a bittern, but I have to admit that my knowledge of bitterns is limited to what I learned about them in The Hound of the Baskervilles. *g*

Date: 2025-10-08 03:55 pm (UTC)I'm delighted you like both the Mouse SAL and the needle case. I enjoy using bright colours, and as the SAL goes on our calendar every month, we like having something cheerful to look at.
My knowledge of bitterns is more or less limited to Holmes too, and we know how accurate ACD is 😂
