Wales - St David's

We had our holiday destination planned, but due to problems with the trains, we changed our plans at the last minute (less than 24 hours before planned departure) and went to south west Wales instead of north Wales.  We spent three full days in St David's, somewhere we'd not been before, but had wanted to visit.

Here's the cathedral:

Behind the cathedral is the Bishop's Palace, which hasn't been inhabited for 500 years:

Gorgeous rose windows! The cathedral is very striking in general.

I'm a big fan of stained glass and particularly rose windows, so I was very taken with them. It is a lovely cathedral.

Seeing both the interior and exterior of St. David's, I can understand why you wanted to visit it. It's spectacular!
