Writing Meme - Large fandom

smallhobbitI've reached number 5: something for a large fandom/pairing/character. The fandom has to be Sherlock (BBC) - one of the largest fandoms around and also the one I've written most in - just under two-thirds of my AO3 stories are based in the Sherlock fandom. That's the easy part. But I don't write for the large pairings; about one-quarter are Watson/Lestrade, followed closely by Holmes/Lestrade. In fact I have only written four Holmes/Watson stories, all as gifts. So I'm going to cheat and choose two entries.
The first Meet the Baker is Holmes/Watson. It is also a coffee shop AU. It was written, in a rush, as a birthday present for a friend. It is cliché ridden. But I am pleased with it, because it did exactly what I wanted it to do: wish Happy Birthday to a friend.
The other is the Unexpected Family series. Holmes/Lestrade, in which the two adopt two small children. It's enabled me to enjoy writing kidfic and select small snippets from family life over the years. The series title comes from the last line in the first story in the series, 'Greg was happy just to watch the proceedings and enjoy something he never expected to have, a proper family of his own.'
