Yesterday's Dare to Dabble was a Quilling afternoon. I've done it once before, a couple of years ago, when I used a very basic shape to make Christmas cards, today had a spring theme.
We began with quilling paper and tool, size chart and some glue:

And practised making various basic shapes - round, tear drop, eye and leaf (although my leaf looked more bird-like)

I then made a number of heart shapes, but sticky two tear drops together,

Plus a larger round shape, pushing it out slightly:

To form a daffodil:

Then, using a special shaping tool:

I made a leaf, to complete my daffodil Easter card:

Lastly, I made a silly card, which I will give to my mother for her birthday:
