Crafts - May 2022
May. 25th, 2022 04:09 pmThere's been quite a lot of cross stitch in the past month - and much less knitting.
The swan and cygnets was finished:

I completed the initials for the wedding card - the wedding was on Saturday so I was able to take it with me:

Our son and his wife had their tenth wedding anniversary, so I stitched them a card:

I made a bookmark as a birthday present (belated) for a friend:

And I've made a good start on this summer's main cross stitch project, the harbour at Tenby:

By contrast I've done much less knitting, although I did complete the next square of my throw (Toronto):

And finally, in keeping with my new goals, I've continued with my painting for numbers:

Date: 2022-05-28 03:42 pm (UTC)I'm currently following a KnitAlong which has architecture from various cities as the inspiration. I can't say I'm taken with it, but they do provide different patterns for me to complete my throw, and I can place them on the outer section.
Thank you - I'm hoping to complete the paint by numbers by the end of the summer - I only do it about once a fortnight, when I've had a quieter day.
