The Crochet Sherlock Holmes is very cute! The postcards are pretty, and the mermaid looks like she's floating in mid-air

I have to decide what I'm going to do with the postcards. I want to display them somewhere. The mermaid is actually sitting on a rock, but it's stitched with pale grey thread which doesn't show clearly here.

It looks like a small shadow of the mermaid from my angle. 😅

Yes, I can see the shadow - that's slightly darker grey, with the main part of the rock (under her tail) the pale grey.
