Yesterday's Dare to Dabble was for Shape Pictures - pictures made using shapes, either by collage or paint etc.

I began with a piece of white card and four sheets of green paper in different shades:



I cut the paper into four different shapes:



And pasted them onto the card to form a mosaic:



Which became Elephant in the Jungle



And then, with some time to spare, I used pencil crayon in the style of Kandinsky - The Sign of Four



Nothing very exciting, but fun!

The concept behind the shape pictures is really cool. It gives artwork some extra depth. I really like Elephant in the Jungle.

You were able to get some nice results when you decided to experiment with pencil crayons. There's some great use of colours and shapes.
