Thank you. The wool is pretty by slightly rough. It should be fine on top of other garments.

Thank you very much. I shall certainly post the finished work, and there may well be another interim post. I normally post about my crafts each month, so there tends to be progress reports on the larger crafts.

Thank you! Yes, I was surprised at how quickly it was growing, which may be because I've stitched more than usual on a number of days - it all depends what else I've got on. At the current rate of progress I should finish by Easter, which allows for not doing anything on some days.

Yes, I was thinking August when I was struggling with the pattern at the start, but now I'm getting to grips with it, it's easier. Which is good, because it means I can begin the Klimt this year.

Oh, that wool is lovely. I like working with the colour changing types of wool. Such pretty effects, and this one has a wonderful color combination.

The lilies are beautiful, too. The cards are all lovely but my personal favourite is the 1st one <3<3<3

I always think cross stitch on a dark background is so nice looking. As usual you've been busy and productive!

I agree - not as easy to stitch though, especially single dark green stitches on dark green canvas - I have to run my finger over the pattern to work out whether I've done the stitch!

I like to keep busy!

I'm impressed as always by how much you're able to accomplish. I love all of the cross stitching, especially the owl and Dearle's Golden Lilies. Based on what I'm seeing, I think the sleeveless top that you're knitting will be beautiful when it's done.

I found it helpful to look back over the month and see what I've been doing - it's easy to think that there's no progress when I do a little each day, but seeing everything is always encouraging. I'm pleased you like the owl, and the Golden Lilies is coming out well.
