I always enjoy taking part in sunshine_challenge and this year I think there will be a number of photos.

Beginning with today's prompt: Iris

I don't know a lot about flowers, but still, I was really surprised to see yellow ones! I love how they've nested next to the pond.

It may be because they are wild rather than cultivated. There's two or three clumps along the canal.
