I always enjoy taking part in sunshine_challenge and this year I think there will be a number of photos.

Beginning with today's prompt: Iris

Yes, that's how they grow wild in the UK.
I feel like I should have known that, but I didn't! I'll have to do some reading up on it. Thank you

Apologies - I've had so many people saying they never knew you could get yellow irises I was forced to check that I had correctly identified them. And then, since I don't know the position in other countries I add 'in the UK'. They grow wild by water, in this case the local canal (the icon will give you an idea where).

May I add you to my 'circle' of friends?

I do wonder if I'm seen them when out walking but haven't realised they were Irises. Which then makes me doubt if I know what any flowers are and I certainly don't mind finding out more!
