Sunshine Challenge - Day Five - Orange Rose

Day Five's sunshine_challenge flower was the Goldenrod.  No-one will be surprised that once again I've gone for the secondary flower, an Orange Rose.

And I'm posting a couple of days after the challenge was posted, as I've been busy and I had to knit a second rose:



It's been quite fun knitting these roses, so I thought I would make an offer, that if anyone would like a knitted rose to let me know which colour they would like and DM me their address, and I'll make one.  It may not be for a little while, but you will receive a rose if that is your wish.

This is lovely! And knit?? I crochet, and flowers are difficult enough because they're so recognizable. Major props to you!

Thank you very much! I recently bought a book of knitted flowers and this was the ideal opportunity to try it out. My attempts at crochet look nothing like what they're supposed to be.

It takes practice, as with all things. I've tried knitting off and on, and I know the basics, but they just...don't turn out good. And I have to go super slow, so I get bored quickly. Someday I'll get better. Then I'll knit some flowers.
