We came back earlier this week from a lovely week in Scotland.  For the next three days I shall be sharing some of the photos, not necessarily the typical tourist ones (although some are) but those which capture something of the place for me.

We began in Perth, arriving the day after the torrential rains, with the resulting floods.  Here is a very full River Tay:

The following day we took the train to Kirkcaldy and looked out on the Firth of Forth:

Then we spent the next day wandering around Perth, visiting various places and walking through some gardens on the further side of the River Tay:

Before walking back across the footbridge next to the railway bridge:

Thank you for sharing the pictures!

I love Scotland so much and have since I was a little kid and my parents first took us there on holiday.

Playing more catch up. You took some beautiful photos in Perth and Kirkcaldy. I'm sorry about those torrential rains on your first day in Perth, but it certainly resulted in some impressive photos of the Tay. The sky in that second photo of the Firth of Forth is incredible. It looks like you saw some lovely gardens, and I really like the photos you took from the footbridge next to the railway bridge
