Scotland Perth and Kirkcaldy
Oct. 19th, 2023 12:51 pmWe came back earlier this week from a lovely week in Scotland. For the next three days I shall be sharing some of the photos, not necessarily the typical tourist ones (although some are) but those which capture something of the place for me.
We began in Perth, arriving the day after the torrential rains, with the resulting floods. Here is a very full River Tay:


The following day we took the train to Kirkcaldy and looked out on the Firth of Forth:

Then we spent the next day wandering around Perth, visiting various places and walking through some gardens on the further side of the River Tay:


Before walking back across the footbridge next to the railway bridge:
