Fannish Fifty: Birthdays

First of all thank you to everyone who sent me good wishes for my birthday - I am a bit behind, but hopefully I did manage to thank you all at the time.

Birthdays are a great opportunity for fannish activities - either when writing about favourite characters' birthdays, or writing presents for friends' birthdays.  And here I shall particularly mention stonepicnicking_okapi who wrote Mrs Hudson and the Splatter Monster

Birthdays are also great for receiving gifts for things one is fannish about - in my case crafting.  



Two wonderful presents, which I shall enjoy once the Christmas crafts are completed.  And SM bought me yarn and knitting needles to make a hat, which I have started, since I'd like to wear it this winter.

Apologies for not responding sooner, though this isn't bad given my most recent track record. ;-)

I'm glad you received some lovely birthday wishes and presents. It's great that your birthday also inspired some fannish activity as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your crafting gifts! :-D

Oh, I do. I'm thinking of alternating the two, but I must get my Christmas crafts finished first - I was rather ambitious this year!
