Fannish Fifty: Birthdays

smallhobbitFirst of all thank you to everyone who sent me good wishes for my birthday - I am a bit behind, but hopefully I did manage to thank you all at the time.
Birthdays are a great opportunity for fannish activities - either when writing about favourite characters' birthdays, or writing presents for friends' birthdays. And here I shall particularly mentionstonepicnicking_okapi who wrote Mrs Hudson and the Splatter Monster
Birthdays are also great for receiving gifts for things one is fannish about - in my case crafting.
Two wonderful presents, which I shall enjoy once the Christmas crafts are completed. And SM bought me yarn and knitting needles to make a hat, which I have started, since I'd like to wear it this winter.
