Fandom 50 (24): Further Adventures in Baker Street - MMI Aemelia Vole

Aemelia Vole arrived in May 2017 in the hands of Inspector Lestrade.  After initial confusion she and Mouselet discover they have different inspectors as their favourites, since when they have become firm friends, enjoying the occasional friendly banter as to which inspector is best.  She recovered rapidly from her first meeting with Ferret, who informed her he was going to be May Queen, and now plays her part in making his costumes and keeping him firmly in order (as far as anyone can!)  The full story can be found here: Aemelia Vole

Aemelia Vole does not submit her copy as enthusiastically as some of the other contributors, but the Sloth is not upset, for it is always neatly written and has been checked through before submission.  She writes the fashion pages and is full of suggestions as to how to adapt expensive costumes for those with a smaller budget, together with how to repurpose a garment so no-one is aware of its previous existence.  Her articles on trimming hats to copy the latest fashions are particularly popular and she has a quarterly column ‘Ask Aemelia’ which concentrates on practical questions about needlework.
