The Klimt continues to grow, so should be finished by October:

I've begun stitching a kit I was given for Christmas:



And lastly, for my birthday I was given a Macclesfield & Leek button kit.  I've now made all the buttons (with greater or lesser success).  Next stop is to make the fabric button journal so they can be displayed properly.

 

No knitting, but I have found some yarn I like, just not decided on the pattern.  Not that there's a rush, I do have other projects I want to complete this summer.

The Klimt is really going well! Your card pieces are sweet, and your new kit looks interesting. Much more colourful then the Klimt.

The button making looks fun=)

Thank you very much - yes, the Klimt occasionally drives me mad with three shades of pale all mixed together. It's fun doing something which is a real contrast - and which grows quicker!

The button making was fun, but tricky in parts and I'd like some more than others.

The Klimt is growing into such a thing of beauty! I love it!

And the birthday cards and buttons are deightfull, too. I love the autumn colours of the buttons.

I love seeing the progress on the Klimt and more beautiful cross stitch cards! Button decorating is a new thing to me. These looks amazing :D

Thank you very much. Button making was new to me, too. I only knew about it because a friend gave me a kit for my birthday.

Oooops! I'm not sure how I missed this the first time. The Klimt is looking AMAZING! I'm also really impressed by your cross stitch projects. I'm curious to see how that kit you were given for Christmas turns out.

I love your Macclesfield & Leek buttons! All the designs and colours are wonderful! I hope we'll get to see a glimpse of your fabric button journal when it's done.

Thank you very much. I'm delighted you like the cross stitch. The Christmas kit is growing quite quickly, which is good. I've now finished the button journal, so there will be photos in my next crafting post.
