Crafts - June 2021

smallhobbitThe exciting news is that the hat I knitted for the daughter last month went up Mount Snowden two days ago! I've started the identical hat, but smaller, for her niece:
I've also started working on a new throw - it's a knitalong with a new square pattern issued every week. There are, I think, eight squares in total, which are repeated in number depending on the size of the throw/cushion being made. The patterns are at week six - I've just started week four:
And here's the knitted elephant - the body partly sewn up.
Because the daughter is now 30 (her birthday is today) I stitched her a bookmark:
And the bandstand at Tenby is making good progress. I'm about two-thirds of the way through now. I'll definitely be doing another in the series.
Other crafts are temari balls and zentangles, and I made an origami crane:
